Why not go 120 mph with your hair on fire?
Vertical Extreme Skydiving

VES is pleased to be in Vulcan Alberta.  Our airport is a retired WWII training base.  It has a certain rustic feel to it but is a great site for a skydiving school. Our Chief Instructor Rob "Hutch"Hutchinson is the 4th most experienced skydiver in Canada.  He has earned every Skydiving Instructors rating available and is ONE of only 16 people allowed to train  skydiving Instructors in Canada.  A key part of his success as a coach and instructor comes from his solid base of skydiving skills...after all he was Canadian National Champion (4 &8 CRW, Senior 4 way, open eight way) and placed in the top ten, or higher, of every competitive event (style, accuracy, open 4 way).

As a  member in good standing of the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association since 1981 he has served ten years as a director (1989- 1999).  Mr. Hutchinson worked with the Coach's Working Committee for CSPA guiding the development of student training programs across Canada from 1989 to 2008.  On the business side he has twenty years experience managing skydiving schools.

Vertical Extreme Skydiving, like every dropzone in the province,  owns it's aircraft.   All skydiving aircraft have to be maintained to the standards set by Transport Canada.  We all do the our very best to provide safe aircraft.  Mr. Hutchinson has owned and managed his own aircraft for 15 years and (knock wood) never had a aircraft accident.  We are very proud of the fact that we have two great reliable aircraft.  We have recently repainted the primary jump ship C-GCSC and it looks great.
