We are located roughly 5 mile south west of Vulcan. The route below is entirily on paved roads. From the south edge of the city it is a 95 km drive. The city is HUGE please allow time to cross it. THE entire drive is on pavement and the directions bring you to VES by the shortest route.
1. go south on highway number 2 to HIGH RIVER, 50 km from the south edge of the city
2. go east on highway 23 to provincial road #804 (the turn to Brant), this road is 24 km from the turn onto #23
3. turn south on 804 and drive to provincial road #534, the distance traveled is 20 km
4. turn east on #534 and drive to range road #253, the distance traveled is 10 km There is a highway sign for our location. It is the "RCAF BASE monument" sign.
5. turn south on #253 (it is a nice paved road) to township road #162, the distance traveled is 6.5 km
6. You can see the airport to your left, turn left and go to the airport entrance, follow the Skydive signs.

Our location is near Vulcan, Alberta on a decommissioned Airforce Base from WW II. We have 6 paved runway's, and tons of landing area. The Base was used to train Lancaster Bomber pilots during WWII. By the shortest directions, provided below, the drive from downtown Calgary is 121 km's.
